With your support, we want to raise $260,000 which will enable us to expand the initiative and serve thousands of more people in the GTA and other surrounding areas by expanding our logistics to intake a larger influx of resources. Our goal is to serve 10,000 people on a weekly basis, 40,000 monthly in 2025.
With expanded logistics, network and reinforced partnerships with food distributors, the Zero Hunger Initiative is on track to significantly alter the food security landscape, ensuring more families and individuals have access to essential nutrition.
In order to accomplish this, please consider joining with us and become an ongoing partner to help the country we love.
The Current Crisis

Over 700,000 people in Toronto are experiencing food insecurity daily.

Zero Hunger Ontario
Freedom City has launched the Zero Hunger Initiative to tackle the escalating issue of food insecurity in the Greater Toronto Area and beyond. The goal is to significantly reduce food insecurity in the GTA. Currently, the initiative provides food for over 4,000 people weekly with a goal to reach 10,000 individuals weekly in 2025. This involves engaging more local and regional food suppliers, strengthening relationships with regional food distributors, enhancing logistics, food storage and distribution capabilities to manage a larger influx of resources efficiently.
Regional Expansion
The initiative has extended its services to underserved communities in Oshawa, London, and Bancroft, with plans to expand further into Hamilton, Windsor, and Thunder Bay. This effort reflects Freedom City's commitment to addressing hunger through tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of each region across Ontario.

Warehousing Facility
The key to the Zero Hunger Initiative
A warehouse will greatly increase Freedom City's capacity, allowing us to store more food and improve logistics for better distribution across Ontario. This facility will enhance our resource intake, strengthen partnerships, and demonstrate our ability to handle large-scale operations. It will also improve resource management, reduce waste, and create more volunteer opportunities. These improvements are essential for expanding our reach, combating hunger, and sustaining our efforts in the region. Your help in acquiring a warehouse will impact communities across Ontario and Beyond.

Vehicles
Presently we are in need two additional vehicles (a truck and a van) for Freedom City to significantly enhance our reach and efficiency, allowing us to serve more communities across Ontario with increased delivery frequency and volume. This support will reduce operational costs, improve response times in emergencies, and bolster our logistics, ensuring timely distribution of resources. Furthermore, it offers sponsors high visibility and positive PR through branded vehicles, fulfilling corporate social responsibility goals while making a tangible difference in the lives of Ontario residents. Join us in driving change and expanding our impact.
Operating Cost
Operating Freedom City requires substantial resources to maintain our high standards of service and impact. This includes vehicle fuel and maintenance, staffing, program costs and food purchases. Sponsors' contributions help cover these critical costs, ensuring our vehicles are always road-ready and our operations run smoothly. By supporting our operating costs, sponsors enable us to focus on our mission of delivering food and essential resources to those in need, maximizing our outreach and effectiveness across Ontario. Your support ensures that every dollar goes further in making a real difference in our communities.
