More Canadians are food insecure than ever before – and the problem is only getting worse
This year's food bank usage represents a 32 per cent increase compared to March 2022, and a 78.5 per cent increase compared to March 2019. Overall, food bank visits have increased at greater and greater rates since 2019, with the highest year-over-year increase in usage ever reported this year.
Almost 6 million Canadians living in the ten provinces live in households facing some level of food insecurity.
Over the last decade freedom city has been dedicated to the cause. We have seen countless lives impacted and changed. Our dedication to helping those in need 7 days a week, year round, has brought us to where we are now. We are ready to make the next major leap in our organization and we need your help to make it a reality.

At Freedom City, we want to make a difference in the lives of those who are struggling in our community. We believe that everyone has the right to feel supported and loved, especially during the holiday season. That's why on December 16th, we'll be hosting a Christmas event that will provide food, clothing, toys and much more to over 1000 families in the GTA. We're proud to be able to offer this opportunity to those in need and are grateful for any support or donations that we receive.

We have the recourses and manpower needed. But to accomplish this we are in urgent need of a warehouse.
With a warehouse, we will instantly quadruple the amount of resources we receive and are also able to send out. This fund will go directly to the purchase of a warehousing space.
