Impacting Communities, Changing Lives

Freedom City is a Canadian Charity in Ontario Canada, dedicated to providing food and non food resources to those who are vulnerable, including the poor, homeless, addicted, abused, those with mental health issues and anyone at risk or in dire need.

As an outreach-focused group, we aim to offer love, respect, honor and dignity to all those in need, because they are the heart of our mission. We strive to create supportive environments that values and aids the marginalized in their journey towards stability, healing and personal freedom in their lives.

In 2025 official reports show nearly 10 million people including 2.5 million children were food insecure in Canada.

Community Outreaches

The core community we serve is the St James Town community in Toronto. Nicknamed "The World On A Block,"
St James Town
stands as the most densely populated neighborhood in Canadahousing over 25,000 residents within 18 high-rise buildings and 4 low rise on a single city block.

While it is a beacon of cultural diversity, St. James Town is also a designated at-risk community where residents face many significant barriers, including high poverty rates, addiction and limited access to essential services. To address these urgent needs, Freedom City provides food and non-food resources and run a number of programs to bring stability and hope to those in need.
